Meatballs in Spicy Sauce with Alsatian Pasta

I’ve noticed a few other bloggers posting on this recipe from Rachel Khoo’s; The Little Paris Kitchen. One of which included the recipe. I’m thinking, since I’m preparing each recipe, more than 200, I would virtually be writing the entire cookbook.  Fact is, what I hope to accomplish is sharing my process and experiences and since so far the recipes are amazing I hope you pick up the cookbook.  No one is paying me nor am I receiving any compensation what-so-ever.  I’m just enjoying the process and trying something new.  And love that I can share it with you.

Although, pasta isn’t something French food is known for there are regions in France who hand make some of the most amazing egg noodles (Alsatian Pasta).  Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find this delicacy in any store available to me here in Nevada.  I was however able to find it online and in the future I may make the purchase.

This tasty tangy red wine sauce was very delicious.  But what a mess, meaning, I used so many pots, pans and utensils.  The process was quit involved but well worth the effort.  The meatballs, though extremely simple, were delicious in this sauce.  The organic egg noodles I found worked very well. My only disappointment was I wanted more.
